Brightwater The Village in Inglewood is a warm, welcoming and comfortable aged care home for people living with dementia. The facility has been designed specifically for elderly people living with the condition, and therefore comes with tailored support services. The Village is in a central location providing residential care for families all across Perth, particularly in Mount Lawley, Morley, Bedford, Embleton Bayswater, Dianella and Yokine.

The elderly, let alone those living with dementia, are amongst the most vulnerable West Australians in the community. They need adequate security, and communications to live a more independent life. Our team at Quantum Electrocom were contracted to address that need, and to provide bespoke solutions, by bringing our expertise to the table.

After completing a thorough analysis of the aged care facility, we identified a need for access control, as we wanted to act as a gatekeeper for who was able to come in and out of the home. CCTV was included to monitor the activity surrounding the facility, and of course, we needed to design and install an intercom system, as this would allow more connectivity amongst the residents, particularly when they need aid.

The end result? A fully operational security system that was installed in a timely manner. Brightwater was pleased with the outcome, and we thank them for the opportunity to protect our most vulnerable West Australians.
